Waxing Do's & Don'ts
Routine waxing helps the skin get accustomed to the procedure and may minimize irritation.
The optimum time between waxing appointments is three to six weeks. This allows the hair to grow to the correct length, but does not allow the hair to become too imbedded in the follicle, reducing pain and maximizing the result.
Pre booking will insure the correct time between appointments

Do’s
DO soothe freshly waxed skin with pfb or teatree lotion. This will counteract redness; it has anti-inflammatory properties, and is great for sensitive skins.
DO Moisturize- very dry skin leads to breakage, pain and possible in-grown hairs. -Moisturise after every shower and use an ingrown solution to minimise in grown hairs.
DO take an advil 1/2 hour before the treatment.  It helps relieve any discomfort.
DO Exfoliate your skin one week after being waxed using Dermalogica 's Ultimate Buffing Cloth
Do Try to relax! When you tense up, believe it or not, your follicles constrict as well, causing some resistance.

Don’ts
DO NOT apply moisturize before waxing treatment
Do NOT apply deodorant until 24 hours after being waxed
DO NOT expose the waxed area to the sun or use a tanning bed 72 hours prior to or after waxing service. Freshly waxed skin is more sun-sensitive and prone to hyperpigmentation.
DO NOT  wax 2-3 days before your cycle or 2-3 days after - you're skin is more sensitive then.
DO NOT become overheated immediately after treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Waxing services cannot be performed on clients that are diabetic; have used Accutane in the last 6 months; are currently taking antibiotics (72 hours minimum discontinued use) or are taking Coumadin, Hydroquinone or other prescription or non-prescription blood thinners.
